ELBA BASINÇLI DÖKÜM SANAYİ A.Ş.

Established in İstanbul-Maltepe in 1969, ELBA started its operations with production of alloy aluminium pressure die casting and casting, which are demanded by the automotive industry. Having also included pressure die casting aluminium radiator and alloy aluminium rim in its production, the company started panel radiator production with E.C.A. branded semi-automatic welding lines in 1st section of Manisa Organized Industrial Zone in 1990 due to reasons such as increase of construction of collective housing, cheapness, ease of assembly, use and cleaning and aesthetics. Having its technology renewed by as of 2001, ELBA deactivated its old lines and commissioned its fully automatic and advanced technology 1st Welding Line with a capacity of 550.000 running meters; later it shifted to production of new design panel radiator which has higher thermal efficiency and more esthetical appearance. 2nd Welding Line with a capacity of 612.000 running meters was also commissioned in 2003 in line with increasing demands and production capacity was increased up to 1.224.000 running meters/year.

With the investment of the 3rd Welding Line with a capacity of 1.224.000 running meters commissioned in a new factory site in 3rd Section of Manisa Organized Industrial Zone in 2005, annual capacity was increased up to 2.448.000 running meters/year. Over the years, ELBA constantly self-renewing and invested 4. Production line  in 2013  and the first one in Turkey mega  line is 5. Production line  in 2017, that taking Turkey's biggest commissioned has succeeded to reach the capacity of the board. The installed capacity of ELBA Inc. , which has 5 fully automatic production lines, is  5,2 million meter. ELBA Inc. uses the installed capacity with full efficiency. The factory located in the 1st section has expanded the settlement with new land purchase.

FORWARD WITH R&D

Main subject emphasized by large and developed industries is R&D and innovation. With this conscious, ELBA started professional execution of R&D and innovative works by a specific department by establishing the R&D department in 2007 for the first time. In the beginning, productivity increase works of panel radiators were carried out and lots of project supported by TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB were completed as a result of this work. An important development was provided for productivity increase in the first project started in 2007 and something new was brought in in radiator design. Within the scope of the project, throttle design was developed and applied on the panel radiator in order to prevent fast and easy exit of water from radiators.

ELBA continues its R&D works without interruption with new projects. ELBA continues to work on R&D projects fastly new projects. TUBITAK-TEYDEB project was completed with 43 patents registered in a very short time with innovations , in this way ELBA started to take a position that gives direction to the sector. In the scope of the first project , thermal capacity testing laboratory approved by TSE as a subcontractor laboratory was established according to EN 442-2 Radiator and Convector Standard and began to serve. As a result of R&D studies, Turkey's first vertically channelized vertical panel radiator has been included in its product range with new investment.

ONE OF THE GLOBAL LEADERS IN THE SECTOR

ELBA is one of the leading companies in panel radiator production with its advanced technology factories settled on a closed area of 49.774 m2 and a total area of 83.000 m² in two different factory. Within the next 10 years, ELBA aims to become a much more important producer in the world panel radiator sector with investments to be made at home and abroad.

High thermal capacity product, which is produced without compromising on quality, fast and solution oriented reactions given to customer demands, constant product renewal potential with the importance given to R&D, strong service network reaching every point in the whole world where its customers are located, compliance with all legal legislations and regulations, and transparent production and sharing management mentality make ELBA different from other companies in its sector.

ODÖKSAN OSMANELİ FACTORY

ELBA carried out radiator production within the ELGİNKAN COMMUNITY until 1973. However, overcapacity created problems for the Community. Besides, aluminium casting was possible in ELBA, while cast iron was not. Meanwhile, ODÖKSAN would take part.

With its foundations laid in 1973, ODÖKSAN started production in 1976 WITH A TOTAL OF 1250 tons (approximately 50.000 m² radiator). In 1980's, ELGİNKAN COMMUNITY was implementing a growth strategy in construction sector. In line with this strategy, ODÖKSAN started cast iron bathtub production in 1982.

With its production capacity and quality, ODÖKSAN became the largest bathtub producer in Turkey and one of the leading ones in Europe. Turning towards production of sink and boiler sections and stove parts with machinery and model investments made in ensuing years, ODÖKSAN made revision in its current lines, increased its melting capacity, and became capable of producing cast GREY (GG), Compact Graphite (GGV) and Nodular (GGG) cast iron.

ODÖKSAN, THE CHOICE OF WORLD BRANDS

Having an open area of 103.000 m² and a closed area of 33.000 m², ODÖKSAN has today increased its annual melting capacity up to 42 thousand tons as a result of new investments and investments for improvement. Company is still able to produce 315.000m² Radiator, 70.000 pieces of enamelled cast bathtub and perform 14.000 tons casting. Along with domestic sales, 95% of ODÖKSAN's sales is export and in addition to enamelled cast bathtub and radiators, it has added various parts in its product range such as automotive, truck, heavy duty vehicles, motor block for train and machine industry, cylinder head, various pump bodies, brake discs, valve bodies, axle tubes, hubs, flywheel and flywheel casings.

The following companies are among those to which ODÖKSAN performs casting and export: Winkelmann (Germany), Grundfos (Hungary), JCB (England), RexrothBoshGroup (Germany, England, Bursa), Hamm (Germany), Terex (Germany), Gussring (Germany), Linde (Germany).
